Senior Account Director

Job Description
The Senior Account Director serves as a strategic leader and key influencer for clients and internal teams, driving comprehensive, integrated marketing initiatives that achieve measurable business goals. This role demands a seasoned professional with the vision to develop innovative strategies, oversee complex marketing programs, and cultivate deep, trusted partnerships with senior client stakeholders. The Senior Account Director will leverage their expertise to align client business needs with high-impact campaigns while mentoring and leading account teams to deliver excellence.

  • Build and maintain strong, high-level client relationships, becoming a go-to advisor on marketing strategy and business opportunities.
  • Provide strategic direction and leadership in the development and execution of integrated marketing strategies and plans, focusing on results-driven solutions that span digital, traditional, social, and experiential channels, 
  • Develop and manage channel partner marketing programs, including co-marketing initiatives, joint events, and incentive programs, to drive revenue growth through indirect sales channels
  • Work closely with clients to identify long-term objectives, new growth opportunities, and challenges.
  • Partner closely with creative, media, analytics, and production teams to deliver innovative, impactful marketing initiatives.
  • Lead, mentor, and empower account managers and account directors, fostering a collaborative environment and a culture of high performance.
  • Encourage the professional development of team members through coaching, feedback, and growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the organization to drive client success and operational efficiency.
  • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for client campaigns, using data insights to evaluate campaign effectiveness, optimize strategies, and demonstrate ROI.
  • Present detailed, data-driven performance reports to clients, making strategic recommendations based on outcomes and market insights.
  • Establish strong partnerships with key partners, ensuring alignment on business objectives and mutual success
  • Develop and implement strategies specifically tailored for different channels, aligning with overall business objectives. 
  • Monitor performance, identify areas for improvement, and optimize  efforts to increase ROI.

    • Proven experience in developing and executing strategic partner marketing programs, including partner recruitment, onboarding, and enablement

    • Superior communication, presentation, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

Supervisory Responsibilities
Account Account Managers, Coordinators

Essential Functions

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in account management within a marketing or advertising agency,
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Commercially-focused with prior experience in a client service role – preference to those with B2B Demand Gen or Content Marketing gained whilst working in an Agency environment 
  • Experience with Partner Relationship Management (PRM) platforms is a plus
  • Experience in marketing automation platforms, sales enablement and ABM
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects
  • Proven track record of leading multi-channel marketing campaigns that drive business outcomes.
  • Experience managing and developing teams in a fast-paced, agency environment or similar setting.
